Electronics engineer with 19 years of professional experience, having designed the electronics of commercial products used in several countries, including systems used by large companies. Focused on digital design, microcontrollers, FPGAs, firmware programming and PCB design, including long experience with Assembly programming for embedded and PC, as well as Windows software programming.

CSS - Corporate Safe Specialists - Posen, IL, USA (2001 - 2013)
Worked as Corporate Safe Specialists' leading electronics engineer, designing the company's electronics until 2013. Many products using those electronic boards are in the market today and in use around the world, including over 15,000 locations in the USA. Some of the largest financial service companies in the world use Corporate Safe Specialists products controlled by those electronic boards, depending on them to assist in managing their currency. This includes the QL family of control boards. These boards are the backbone of the largest install base of computer controlled smart safes in the United States.

Four US patents earned together with Corporate Safe Specialists:

  • US Patent 6,885,281 B2: "Controlling a Safe Having an Electronic Lock"

CVRD - Companhia Vale do Rio Doce - Vitória, ES, Brazil (1999 - 2000)
One-year internship as an Electrical and Electronics Technician required by the technical college for graduation.

During this internship:
  • Developed a new control software for the train weighting station of the seaport terminal which increased the speed of processing trains by over 10 times and practically eliminated human errors during the operation of the scale, resulting in a significant profit for the company.   • Designed an inductive joystick controller for seaport cranes to solve the issue of sea moisture and coal dust damaging the original controllers. Click here for more details.

Education


WKU - Western Kentucky University - Bowling Green, KY, USA (2000 - 2015)
Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Minor in Mathematics.

Received a full sponsorship from Corporate Safe Specialists from 2001 on, which covered tuition, housing, transportation and meals.

Due to US visa limitations related to employment under a student visa, had to quit college during the senior year in order to continue working for Corporate Safe Specialists. Returned in 2014 and 2015 to complete.

ETFES - Escola Técnica Federal do Espírito Santo - Vitória, ES, Brazil (1995 - 1999)
Four year technical college together with high school, graduating as an Electrical and Electronics Technician.
